Please note that the sizes of the leaves and splashes vary per plant.
Hoya rintzii is a stunning plant with large green leaves that are beautifully splashed with silver and pink. It was named after R.E. Rintz, a Hoya expert who studied these plants in Peninsular Malaysia.
This species belongs to the Mindorensis Complex in Borneo, along with Hoya Mindorensis and Hoya Elmeri, but its leaves are much bigger than those of the other two. The flower ball is smaller than the other two, but no less striking. Hoya rintzii is a lowland species that is found in the tree canopy along rivers, and prefers warm temperatures.
